Detail Paint Brush Set: Our detail paint brushes are ideal for fine art. We sell a Detail Paint Brush Set with 15 brushes in rounds and flats of 4/0, 3/0, 2/0, 0 & 1 sizes. You can use these for detailing and line work with a variety of paints. Artists tend to use our detail brushes with watercolours, acrylics and gouache paint. You can also use them with oil paint.

The best paint brush (or paint brush set) for you depends on what you will be painting and what kind of paint you’ll be using. For water-based paints, brushes with a nylon tip are best because they don’t soak up water. For acrylic and oil-based paints, a natural-bristle brush will work best, or you can use a blended brush.
