What are Real Brush Pens? Real Brush Pens are watercolour pens with a fine nylon nib. When used without water, the nib replicates a marker pen. When wet, it has similar qualities to a fine paintbrush. Real Brush Pens use a water-based ink. They are non-refillable, but they last a long time—up to a few months with moderate use.

How do you use a Real Brush Pen? To use your Real Brush Pen as a marker, hold it at an angle, like a regular pen. Draw onto your paper without wetting the nib. To use your Real Brush Pen as a paintbrush, you can wet the nib and paint right on your paper, or wet the paper first and then draw. Both techniques have their place!

How do you store a brush pen? You can store your Real Brush Pens flat or upright, so long as you securely attach the cap to prevent the ink from drying out. We recommend storing your brush pens in a drawer or another cool, dry place, just as you would marker pens. This will preserve the condition of your water brush pens, so they always works like new.
