Real Brush Pen Bundles

Real Brush Pens integrate the wonders of drawing and painting for maximum versatility. With a fine nylon nib, these pens mimic a marker when your brush pen is dry, and a fine paintbrush when using it wet. This duality lets you draw and paint with a single easy-to-use tool, bringing flexibility to your work and making life easier. Our Real Brush Pen bundles include an assortment of colours, so just grab some water when you want to paint! Buying a bundle is the easiest way to get started and we have plenty to choose from. Come visit Arteza and discover this brilliant medium today!

How do you use watercolour brush pens? You can use our watercolour brush pens as a marker or as a paintbrush. To use it as a marker, just draw on paper using normal pressure. To use it as a paintbrush, simply wet the nib in a little water and start painting! The ink will flow from the nib to the paper, producing a watercolour finish.

How long do brush pens last? With moderate use, each brush pen will last a few months before running out of ink. With heavy use, you can expect to get about a month out of each pen. Brush pens are not refillable, and the ink will run out before the nib frays. When stored, brush pens last several years so long as the cap is securely attached. Rest assured that the colours you use infrequently will not dry out.

How can I prevent my brush pen from fraying? To prevent fraying and premature nib wear, you should use the pen at an angle, on smooth paper. If you use a highly textured paper, the nib can drag on the surface and fray over time, which is why we recommend using watercolour paper.

Paint brush markers are great for travelling, because you don’t have to carry two different mediums. You can use them as both a marker and a paintbrush by adjusting the amount of water you use to layer, blend and colourise your art. Our Real Brush Pen bundles are a great way to get started with this exciting tool, and our bundles include a variety of vibrant colours. Since the pens act as a brush, all you need to do is add water. We strongly advise you to preview our Real Brush Pen bundles and don’t forget the paper!
