Diploma Frames

Diploma frames are designed so that the certificate that has been earned is showcased to exude pride when mounted on the wall. The reason why diploma frames are typically constructed with dark, thin wood is for the eye to be drawn to the certificate itself. Reward yourself with a quality frame.

You can get quality diploma frames for a reasonable cost. You can also buy diploma and document frames in multipacks of two (2), four (4) and eight (8). A black wooden frame with real glass is the traditional choice. You can buy cheaper plastic frames with acrylic sheet, but these don’t last as long and scratch quite easily.

What size are document frames?... Document frames are typically sold in the following standard sizes:  21.6 x 28 cm,  28 x 35.5 cm, and  30.5 x 40 cm

These document frame sizes are suitable for standard diplomas and certificates. Some college and university diplomas are in A4 size: 21 x 29.7cm

You can also buy document frames in corresponding sheet sized to A4, A3, A2, and A1 for example.

What size frame do I need for a diploma?... You can frame your diploma so that it sits flush into the frame with no border (in which case you want an exact size frame) or you can frame your diploma so that it has a border that runs around it (in which case you want an oversized frame).

Before buying an award frame, you should measure the document using a ruler. Take measurements in cm and inches because frames are commonly sold in both size systems. You may find that your award is a standard size, like A4.

What is a standard certificate size?... Certificates are most usually 8.5 x 11 inches (21.59 x 27.94 cm) however they can also be 8.5 x 14 inches, 11 x 14 inches, and 11 x 17 inches.

Diplomas and certificates tend to be a standard size. It is not uncommon for the A4 size to be used. Bachelors, Masters and the PhD degrees from most universities and qualification boards are often 8.5" high x 11" wide.
